At Rainbow Drive-In, the mix plate — barbecue beef, boneless chicken and mahi mahi with rice and macaroni salad — is the most popular order. But the loco moco, barbecue beef and chili plates are often favorites as well. After the war, Ifuku worked at other drive-ins on Oahu, before finally opening Rainbow Drive-In on Kapahulu Avenue at the entrance to Waikiki.
