Taking place in a brand-new region, trainers will visit the island of Kitakami as part of a school trip, where they'll encounter various Pokémon and take place in the Treasure Hunt - the overarching plot device between the two waves of Scarlet and Violet DLC.
This first wave of DLC introduces new Pokémon like the Legendary Ogerpon and the Loyal Three Pokémon who protect Kitakami: Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti. There are also a host of returning Pokémon who will be in Gen 9 for the first time, and this includes version exclusives. For example, Aipom is exclusive to Violet while Gligar is exclusive to Scarlet.
How Long It Takes To Complete The Kitakami Pokédex In The Teal Mask DLC For those who want to catch 'em all, this will add quite a bit more time onto a Teal Mask playthrough. Those who are attempting to create a Living 'Dex, understandably, will take even longer. However, it's estimated that most people can complete the new Kitakami Pokédex for The Teal Mask DLC in about 10 hours. However, luck are factors here, since some Pokémon are version exclusives.
Those who have finished the Paldean 'dex will have a considerable headstart on the Kitakami Pokédex already, lowering that time even more. This essentially doubles the amount of time spent in the new DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, but it's still a lot less than how long it takes to complete the Pokédex for the base games.
