Karl Lagerfeld frequently drew inspiration from beach holidays for his designs but in October 1990, he put surf culture right on the catwalk, and no one wore it better than Linda Evangelista. A longtime muse of Lagerfeld , the Canadian model walked the runway in a sequined suit-jacket and tight cycling shorts — all while carrying a surfboard bearing the words “Natural Art”.
