Created by Eiichiro Oda, the adventure story follows Monkey D. Luffy on his quest to become King of the Pirates.
Speaking with Deadline, Adelstein and Clements expressed interest in having 12 seasons of the live-action One Piece because of how long the manga is. They also reveal how fast they believe the manga could be adapted into a television format.
