Well back in 2004 Lindelof was hard at work with. Their plan to dazzle audiences was to cast a famous movie actor as the show’s ostensible lead and then bump him off in the pilot. The actor in question wasand he would play Dr. Jack Shephard, the kind of identifiable hero TV audiences knew to look out for.
