have won three games in a row. After a rough two weeks that included an eight-game losing streak and a 2-11 stretch, the team seems to have turned a corner. The defense looks sharper, the starters and relievers have both been effective and the bats have finally started to wake up.
But according to Lucas Giolito, the turning point came before the recent win streak began, in the Sox’ 6-5 loss to the Angles on Sunday. The team was down five runs headed into the final frame, and mounted a serious rally to make the game interesting. Ultimately the comeback fell short, however that effort inspired something within the team.
