Video footage shared with the Record shows the fire burning out of windows
Emergency services are tackling a huge fire above a restaurant in Dunfermline that broke out earlier this evening.
and doors on the top floor of the three-storey building. Shocked locals can only watch as the building burns, while firefighters draw up to the scene. Police say they are providing the fire service with logistical support on the ground, redirecting traffic away from the city centre blaze. It is not known if there are any injuries.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has sent four fire engines, as well as specialist support units, to the scene. A spokesperson told the Record the incident is ongoing, adding that the fire is yet to be contained.
