UK Power Networks says it is working to restore the supply in several parts of the East of England.
Hundreds of homes across the East of England have experienced power cuts as Storm Bert battered the region.
These included 792 homes in several villages east of Stevenage, 695 to the south-east of Norwich, 600 north of Ipswich and 348 in Horndon on the Hill in Thurrock.
