Former BBC presenter Huw Edwards has arrived at court ahead of his sentencing hearing for accessing indecent images of children as young as seven. The 62 year old previously admitted three charges of "making" indecent photographs after he was sent 41 illegal images by convicted paedophile Alex Williams over WhatsApp.
The court has heard that Edwards paid another man, Alex Williams, hundreds of pounds for gifts and presents in exchange for images. “Alex Williams has stated that the money was more generally to support him at university and amounted to around £1,000 to £1,500.”Huw has reportedly split from his wife, Vicky Flind, and moved out of the family home. Huw and wife Vicky, 60, lived in a house in Dulwich, south London, but court documents reveal he is now dividing his time between a new home in Wandsworth, south west London, and one in Wales.
