I left the store with more than I bargained for
I'm a sucker for a bargain. I'm one of those people who will spend absolutely ages walking up and down the aisles of Home Bargains, B&M or The Range, pottering about the shelves of items that I definitely don't need, but end up popping in my basket anyway.
The discount warehouse, just off Long Lane on Hartley Avenue in Aintree, sells everything from dog food to duvets. There's shelves and shelves of discounted items for whether you're doing the weekly food shop or renovating a new home. Although the weather has taken a miserable turn, there are plenty of items for anyone looking to spruce up their garden including decking timber, garden sets and parasols. Or if your kids have taken over that space, then there's swimming pools and other outdoor games to keep them entertained.
I spotted bubble skirts for £17.99, wide leg trousers for £17.99 and oversized cardigans for £19.99. I bought a pair of embellished shorts for £9.99 which I ended up taking to the festival - an absolute bargain if you ask me.
