The soaring temperatures can cause your loaves to go off faster than usualin a cool, dark place is usually best, that can be easier said than done when the temperature soars.
Even if you have a bread bin to keep your loaves out of direct light it might not be that useful if the air around it is too warm. But that doesn't mean you need to ditch your bread bin altogether, it's only wooden and metal styles of bread bins that could be doing more hard than good. Storing bread in ceramic or pottery containers will make it last longer, according to nutrition expert Birgit Brendel.
