In a strange turn of events golfer Rory McIlroy caught a stray as he was called out in a US presidential election debate!
Billy Horschel cruelly denied Rory McIlroy a tournament victory but one act from the Northern Irishman proved he is 'one of the classiest golfers of this generation.'The pair landed on the green in two shots on the par-five 18th, but Horschel showed nerves of steel to drain a long putt for eagle.
"But the way he looked at me and gave me a little smile, and then congratulated me later, meant so much to me. "Look, the first thing to remember is that Rory is the best player of my/our generation," Horschel said.
