Now the holiday season is over, I made my way to the Yorkshire Coast
Travelling across Yorkshire without a car can be difficult at the best of times and the quickest way is usually to take the train - but if you have time to spare there are other options.

There was a fair-sized queue building up for the bus but there was plenty of space and it soon set off.
The bus journey itself was certainly nothing to complain about, with its scenic views from the window, but by the end of it I was feeling pretty exhausted and very stiff. Despite this, I decided to make my way down to the beach. The weather was also fairly good and with more decent temperatures on the way, Scarborough could make for a good day out for a family. The question remains then, which is the best method to get there?
