BOSTON – Sources told the WBZ-TV I-Team Massachusetts State Police are on alert for Robert Card, the person of interest in a Maine mass shooting, as he may be in the state.Related: Who is Robert Card?A massive manhunt is underway after at least 16 people were killed and over 50 were hurt Wednesday night in Lewiston, Maine.According to I-Team sources, Massachusetts State Police issued a be on the lookout for a vehicle that Card may have driven into the state.
The vehicle was believed to have been driven out of New Hampshire and into Massachusetts on Interstate 93 South around 8 a.m. on Thursday.WATCH: Live continuous coverage on WBZ-TV and CBS News Boston.I-Team sources previously reported that Card has ties to Massachusetts, though the exact nature of the ties was not immediately known.Anyone who encounters Card is asked to call 911 immediately.
