A pair of £80 straighteners have been slashed to just £29 as part of Amazon Spring Deal Days sale - and shoppers say they are better than ghd.
With that in mind, consumer writer Bethan Shufflebotham tried out the budget-friendly Remington straighteners for Berkshire Live. "When I turned them on, they took about 20-25 seconds to get hot, which is a tiny bit longer than my ghds. Near the end, they were a bit slow to reach the full temperature. I chose a lower heat setting for my thin hair, but you can make it hotter if your hair is thick or wavy."
