When Charlie Bond found out the iconic Nivea Creme shares 90% of the same ingredients as £2k-a-pot Crème de La Mer, she put it to the test
At Netmums we LOVE hearing about dupes for high end products, and when we discovered that a £4 Nivea cream was supposed to be a dupe for £2K a pot Crème de La Mer, we had to give it a try. Beauty buffs have been saying for a while that the Nivea Creme is 'just like' pricey Crème de La Mer, with celebrities like Annie Mac backing up the claims.
That said, with the other ingredients being pretty identical, it's certainly worth trying the Nivea Creme to see how it compares. I ordered mine from Amazon for just £4.15 and got a 400ml tin. Which is massive. Like, the size of my child's head. I can't believe how good it is for such a cheap product. I'd say I'll be buying it again, but this one is going to take me a while to work my way through!
