Phillip Schofield’s TV return confirmed as he ditches ITV for rival channel
PHILLIP Schofield has broken his silence on his new Channel 5 show after his TV comeback was revealed last night.On Wednesday morning, Phillip announced the news on Instagram.Phillip wrote: "Now you know how I spent my Summer! Alone for 10 days, no food, no water, no crew. My story of survival, both on a desert island and off it.Phillip said about his TV return: “This is most definitely a first for me and the only thing I felt compelled to do. It appealed to me on so many levels.
"Maybe I’ll be Robinson Crusoe, or maybe I’ll just be Tom Hank’s Wilson and quietly drift off into the wild blue yonder!!” "With 10 days to himself, no camera crews or production around, he shot some unbelievably raw footage - some of it makes for tough, emotional viewing. Phillip was given a handheld camera, isolated sound pack and wearable body cameras for his one-man documentary.
He added: “I am deeply sorry. There are accusations of all sorts of things. It never came across that way because we’d become mates.
