EXCLUSIVE: Married At First Sight UK star Alexis Economou has opened up about her ongoing endometriosis battle
Married At First Sight UK’s Alexis Economou has shared her recent health scare after doctors discovered a large tumour on her ovaries.
According to studies, endometriosis can cause an increased risk of benign gynaecological tumours. However, Alexis is unsure whether her tumour and endometriosis are linked. “After that, it was just a waiting game for an operation,” Alexis went on. “I didn’t have the operation until three months ago when I found out about the lesion tumour a whole year and half prior to the surgery.
“I even took time out from being sexual just to see if that would help, but it was still coming back so it made me realise that it was nothing that I was doing.”
