On Halloween night, three Lynchburg teens were caught on camera in an act of kindness.
Those boys, Israel Summers, Landon Holofchak and Brennan Monroe have been friends for about a year and just decided to go trick-or-treating together.We saw other kids behind us and we just wanted to make sure they got some," Holofchak, a 7th grader at Liberty Christian Academy, said.
The homeowner, Kim Cheatham was sick and couldn't pass out candy, so she put out the bowl instead. She said the boys made her night.I wanted these boys recognized because I wanted their parents to see that their act of kindness really meant a lot to us," Cheatham said, over Zoom."I'm just really proud, really proud of them," Kellie Smith, Brennan's mom, said.
"That's your character, what you're doing when nobody is looking is your character," Jaime Holofchak, Landon's mom, added.
