"I have the pleasure of working closely with our Hispanic/Latinx community on campus," said Ilianna Velez, assistant director of the student multicultural center at Kent State University.Latinx-identifying students on campus. “From that day on, I committed to ensuring that I wouldn’t be the last,” Velez said.
“I also oversee the planning of Hispanic Heritage Month and work closely with our Latinx student organizations, staff and faculty to ensure we are honoring and celebrating our Hispanic/Latinx culture.she said. The list was created by AmMore Consulting in 2020 to elevate the profile of the Hispanic professional community of northern Ohio.
