King Charles, the doting dad to Princes William and Harry, celebrated his 76th birthday three days ago with a moment of reflection on his family ties after a challenging year. Despite being father to two sons, it's well-known he had always longed for a daughter.
Amidst the uncertainty, Princess Kate and Queen Camilla have been steadfast in their support by his side. Then, only a month later in March, came the announcement of Princess Kate's own cancer struggle. Now after completing chemotherapy treatment, Kate looks forward to resuming her public duties at a measured pace, reports the Express.
Chatting with OK!, Ms Bond shared: "Certainly Diana, although delighted to have a healthy second son, would have loved a daughter. I spoke to her about it and asked whether she and Charles would try for a third child and she said the marriage was in too much trouble to try again."
