As the drama returns for its latest investigation, fans are eager to know more about the man behind the detective constable who has been a part of Shetland from the start. Since that time, he has featured in an array of popular series and films, including Shameless, Ripper Street, The Bletchley Circle, Doctor Who, and The Bay, with significant performances as Robert Oswald in Harlots, Dominic Rook in Being Human, and Mark Bradwell in The Bay.
Expressing his appreciation for his education while chatting with The Belfast Telegraph in 2013, he commented: "I got proper acting training, met Charlotte and made a living out of what I really like doing, I'm positive because I feel very lucky."
