Many cities across the UK contain abandoned buildings that once were full of life, with Manchester being no exception., stands a dilapidated building with the reminder of its previous life visible from the outside. The Astoria would have once been filled with excited locals as they crammed into the bingo hall hoping they would have the winning numbers.
The building was previously used as a cinema, until it was converted into a bingo hall in the 1960s. 2009 saw the sad closure of the Astoria, and since then the building has stood empty and decaying.
