Fans have voted and crowned irsais and rauwalejandro’s “Dream Girl (Remix)” as the best Latin summer song of 2020.
“Dream Girl ” was released at the end of 2019 but became a global hit this year, fueled by its viral success where it counts with over one billion views on TikTok and over one hundred million views on YouTube.
Born and raised in Bonaire, an island municipality of the Netherlands, to a Dominican mother, Ir-Sais sings in his native language, Papiamento while Rauw sings in Spanish. The song is a sultry dancehall-meets-reggaeton that peaked at No. 25 on the Hot Latin Songs chart dated July 11 and peaked at No. 6 on the Latin Rhythm Digital Song Sales chart dated June 27.
