Iron Man has become a god on the level of Galactus, but with cosmic power comes cosmic responsibility, and Tony Stark is now being asked to shape the fate of the Marvel Universe, just as the Living Tribunal predicted.
The fate of the Marvel Universe could lie in the hands of Iron Man after the hero gained the amazing powers of a god. In Iron Man #15, the greatest cosmic beings in existence confront Tony Stark, telling the newly powered hero that what he does next will not only determine his fate but also maybe the fate of all of existence.
Tony Stark wasn't born with superpowers or gained them later in life like his fellow Avengers such as Captain Marvel, Thor, and Captain America. Instead, he used his vast resources to become Iron Man. With his advanced suits of armor, Stark has been able to go toe-to-toe with some of the most dangerous villains in the Marvel Universe while being a key member of the Avengers.
After telling Iron Man to live his destiny and that they'll always be watching, the cosmic beings leave the hero alone. Naturally, Tony Stark taunts Korvac as he's being taken away, telling him his"special project" got the green light while his has been canceled. The Living Tribunal and the other powerful cosmic beings determined Iron Man would be allowed to play out his own fate with his new god powers.
While Tony Stark might be excited to see what he's capable of with the Power Cosmic, he's been warned his actions may decide the fate of the Marvel Universe. He might not realize it, but his powers are so much bigger than even he can imagine. The future of the Marvel Universe could lie in his hands as one bad decision could be catastrophic. Will Iron Man become corrupted with his new god powers, or can be make the universe a better place? The answer remains to be determined.
