by SBG San Antonio Staff ReportsAn intoxicated man crashes into a Northwest Side apartment, injuring a resident. According to the San Antonio Police Department, the incident happened around 5:00 p.m., Saturday, in the 4800 block of Gus Eckert Road.
Authorities say the suspect struck the wall of the apartment and continued to drive, striking a 21-year-old resident inside the apartment. The suspect fled the scene and was later found to be intoxicated, according to the police. He was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Failure to Stop and Render Aid, police say.
