Israeli troops begin withdrawal from the occupied West Bank’s Jenin, army officials says, winding down an intense two-day raid that killed at least 12 Palestinians
A Palestinian who was critically-injured during Israel's raid of Jenin camp is treated by medics while in transport on a gurney at Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin city in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday.
The raid, launched under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's far-right government, targeted the northern city of Jenin and employed armoured vehicles, army bulldozers and drone strikes. “At these moments we are completing the mission, and I can say that our extensive operation in Jenin is not a one-off,” he said.
