The Tribit XSound Mega is rated at a healthy 30W and uses high-density speaker magnets to deliver punchy bass, making it ideal for pool parties or barbecues. There are three audio modes built into the speaker. For party animals, there’s an Xbass setting, while for general music listening there’s a music mode. The Tribit XSound Mega speaker has an impressive battery capacity thanks to a couple of 3.65V 4,000mAh rechargeable lithium-ion cells that can play for up to 24 hours. Meanwhile, the speaker’s casing is rated at IPX7 for water resistance, making it ideal for poolside use where it’s likely to receive the occasional soaking. The batteries take about 3.5 hours to fully charge, with sufficient stamina to outlast the most raucous of pool parties, outdoor gatherings, country hikes or all-day events.
Behind the XSound Mega’s speaker grille, there is a strip of RGB LEDs that are perfect for creating a party vibe. The LEDs can be turned off if flashing, colored lights aren’t required. The XSound Mega also has two external charging ports for topping up a couple of smartphones....
