I went to the same school for 14 years. You had to wear a head-to-toe uniform—even monogrammed socks. Everything was very in line. You had to have your hair a certain length and they would measure it and send you home if you didn't have it that way. Since always I've been ready to fuck it up—before even I knew I was gay or into something that was more complex than everyone else's sexuality, I wanted to be a rocker.
