Coronation Street viewers were left frustrated by a mistake involving Craig Tinker during a recent visit to Weatherfield. As fans will remember, Abi Webster has recently been embroiled in a distressing plot involving deep-fake videos of herself. She and Kevin Webster are convinced that Stefan Brent is the culprit behind the videos. Last month, Kevin even infiltrated Stefan's office in an attempt to find proof of his involvement in the deepfakes.
Outraged Coronation Street enthusiasts have expressed exasperation that Craig Tinker was able to arrest Kevin Webster on the cobbles, despite their close connection. A disgruntled viewer posed the question on a Corrie social media fan page: 'Surely Craig would not be able to interview neighbours, would this not be a conflict of interest? Also how come he seems to be the cop who is part of every single crime in the street. Seems so daft to me.
