ITV viewers have hit out at Good Morning Britain over coverage of the sentencing of serial killer Lucy Letby.
Good Morning Britain viewers were up in arms at the coverage of the Lucy Letby trial as the serial killer was sentenced to a whole life order on Monday.
Columnist Owen Jones and broadcaster Andrew Pierce were on the show to discuss the current laws and whether she should have been forced. The ITV programme also featured a criminal psychologist who spoke about Letby's state of mind. But some, as writes the Mirror, who were at home watching were left less than impressed. One said: "@GMB think you have been very insensitive towards the families involved by doing this story. Let them grieve in peace." And one added: "Oh ffs enough already! Surely this story, important as it is, has been pulled apart right to the entrails."
