Manchester City and England footballer Jack Grealish has been slapped with a fine after admitting to speeding in his luxury £100,000 Range Rover.
Initially, Grealish faced an additional charge for failing to provide information about the driver's identity. However, this was dropped following his admission to the speeding charge.READ MORE: McDonald's launches 'UK first' across all restaurants from today John Dye, representing the 28-year-old footballer, shared apologies from Grealish for his absence and for the offence, stating: "Mr Grealish means no discourtesy by not attending. I am instructed to enter a guilty plea on his behalf in relation to speeding."
In 2020, Grealish was handed a nine-month driving ban and fined £82,499 for two instances of careless driving. The first incident took place during the national coronavirus lockdown when he crashed his car just a day after urging people via social media to stay home and protect the NHS.
