Sunday’s 28-22 final in Washington was the Jaguars’ 18th consecutive road loss, and 17th consecutive loss to an NFC opponent.
It was a rollercoaster affair, as the Jags defense forced three turnovers. QB Trevor Lawrence had some good moments, but also threw a late interception.
First pick Travon Walker shined with a sack and an interception in his NFL debut. Walker fared better than 2021 first-rounder Travis Etienne who had a notable drop. A missed opportunity for the Jaguars to change the narrative. Did some good things but left so much out there and with ball in hand couldn’t make plays in final two minutes. It's hard to get a lot of love in a loss but how about James Robinson's return - two touchdowns. I thought Josh Allen played big and made a couple of huge plays in first half, and Kirk goes over 100 in his Jaguars debut.©2022 Cox Media GroupRich Jones is News Director and the Host of Jacksonville’s Morning News.
