A man has admitted killing Jack Jermy-Doyle, who died after being punched on a night out in Preston city centre.
Mr Jermy-Doyle, a litigation expert, suffered a serious head injury in the altercation at around 2:40am on August 12 2022. He died from his injuries two days later.During the appearance at Preston Crown Court, Fairclough spoke only to confirm his name and enter his guilty plea. He will be sentenced at the conclusion of Parkinson's trial.
Fairclough, of Blackpool Road, Lea, has been granted conditional bail but warned if he breaches it he will be remanded in custody. Parkinson was remanded in custody but will return to court in March to stand trial.
