It's official: Jake Paul will face Nate Diaz next 🚨
Jake Paul has announced his next fight will be against UFC legend Nate Diaz – ending rumours of a Tommy Fury rematch.Getty Images - GettyAnd his opponent will be American MMA star Diaz instead of Fury after a rematch against his old rival was ditched.
Paul tweeted: “August 5th we commemorate the funeral for Nathaniel Diaz as we send him in casket back to Dana [White]. “Refreshments will be provided at the service. Black Tie Attire. Watch #PaulDiaz live on DAZN PPV globally.”Paul has turned to boxing after becoming a social media star and his upcoming clash against Diaz in Dallas will be his eighth bout.
It will see the 26-year-old return to fighting UFC stars having already beaten Anderson Silva, Tyson Woodley and Ben Askren. The fight against Diaz will be contested at 185 pounds and over eight rounds with 10-ounce gloves and will take place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
