The telly officials, however, had their goggles on as they invited the ref for a second look. With seven minutes of added time before the interval, there was still time for Rangers to regain the lead and they did just that as Dessers got on a Cantwell cross to crash a fantastic header past Marshall. Clement’s men returned for the second half looking desperate for a quick third.
Ronald Koeman tops the global list but looks uncatchable having netted an incredible 253 strikes. Daniel Passarella , Fernando Hierro , Laurent Blanc are also ahead, with former Real Madrid ace Sergio Ramos’ tally of 135 the next target for Tavernier.
