Actor Jamie Foxx apologized 'to the Jewish community' this weekend after an Instagram post about 'fake friends' was accused of promoting antisemitism.
Foxx’s publicist Allison Garman referred The Washington Post to the actor’s statement Sunday afternoon.the phrase “They killed Jesus” is a common Black colloquialism used to warn people against trusting too easily.
Wider Frame’s screenshot also showed actor Jennifer Aniston’s account liked the original post before it was deleted. Aniston issued a“This really makes me sick. I did not ‘like’ this post on purpose or by accident,” Aniston said. “And, more importantly, I want to be clear to my friends and anyone hurt by this showing up on their feeds — I do NOT support any form of antisemitism. And I truly don’t tolerate HATE of any kind. Period.
