Scottish comedian Janey Godley has shared a heartbreaking clip of an emotional reunion with her beloved sausage dog Honey as she tragically moves into end of life
Beloved comic Janey Godley has her fans reaching for the tissues after sharing a heartwarming video of a reunion with her treasured sausage dog Honey as she settles into hospice care.
Known for causing stitches of laughter with her dead-on lip-sync impressions of Nicola Sturgeon's pandemic briefings, the Glaswegian comedian has regularly delighted fans with irresistibly cute content of her darling dachshund on her social media feeds. Another wrote: "All the love in the world to you, Janey," while a third follower penned: "Dog love is just the best!" In additional footage, we see sausage dog Honey snugly wrapped in a blanket on Janey's bed in the hospice, receiving all the ear scratches her heart desires.
Janey, a mother to one, joyfully announced on X that she was given the all-clear in 2022, with a scan showing "no evidence of disease". Tragically, she later updated her followers with the news that another scan had found signs of the disease in her abdomen.
