The comedian presented The Clown Doctors with a Pride of Scotland award
Janey Godley thanked the Clown Doctors personally for their work as she presented them with their award.
"As someone who goes into hospital every week and is facing quite a lot of difficulty, having a good laugh in the ward is so important. I play ‘find the cannula’. Nobody likes that game and I always win. Thank you so much for bringing so much laughter to difficult situations.” Wearing bright yellow coats and shiny red noses, the clowns have brought joy to thousands of children in 27 hospitals, hospices, special schools and care homes across Scotland.
Janey's anti-Trump sign went viral on social media when she protested at his visit to Scotland in 2016.
