Some of the Jan. 24-25 tornado reports are plotted, and some that haven't yet been confirmed may not yet be on this map.As we alluded to earlier, it's typical to have at least a few tornadoes in the U.S. each January.
Typical for winter, the jet stream has also been active and strong, pivoting out of the Desert Southwest into the central and southern U.S.
