Jarell Quansah has been speaking about his centre-back partner Virgil van Dijk and Liverpool training under Arne Slot
Jarell Quansah has paid tribute to Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk, saying: 'He's everything I want to be as a centre-back.' The 21-year-old forced his way into the first-team fold last term and ended his first year in the Premier League as Van Dijk's centre-half partner, making 33 appearances for the Reds.
Virgil is a Rolls-Royce - he's everything I want to be as a centre-back. I can take so much from him. I've learned so much, not just from Virg but from the entire backline. “It was good to get away for a few weeks but I’m at the start of my career and I want to keep training and keep improving. 'Arsenal are a brilliant team. They have quality players all over the pitch.
