Sean Dyche provided an update on the fitness of a number of players at his press conference on Thursday
Jarrad Branthwaite has stepped up his recovery from injury, although the Everton defender is still short of full fitness. The Blues are back in action in the Premier League on Saturday when they face Aston Villa. Without Branthwaite, Everton have lost their first three top-flight games and have conceded a league-high 10 goals. Speaking at his press conference on Thursday afternoon, Dyche provided an update on the condition of the England centre-back after the international break.
They've both done a lot of work with the sport scientist team. What I mean is that they've just started to train with us every day. So training period, game period then to be classed as fully fit.' Everton skipper Seamus Coleman is also 'touch and go' for the weekend's game, according to Dyche. The right-back was forced off in the second half of the Republic of Ireland's clash with England in the UEFA Nations League.
