Michael Carter II has had a nice season for the Jets, but the cornerback had two big penalties last week in the loss to the Bills that he was upset about.

Carter was flagged for holding on Buffalo’s touchdown drive just before halftime. Then, he was hit with a pass interference call on their third-quarter touchdown drive, a penalty that gave the Bills 18 yards and put them in the red zone.

Carter has been overshadowed by the play of fellow corners Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed, but the second-year player from Duke has done well as the Jets’ slot corner. He is ranked 16th among all cornerbacks by Pro Football Focus and has a 78.5 quarterback rating against.
