The Jets will get a little reprieve in their season opener against the Bills.
The Bills kept Von Miller on the physically unable to perform list, according to multiple reports, which means he’ll miss the first four games of the season — including the opener against the Jets.
Miller signed a six-year deal with Buffalo before the 2022 season, and despite the injury, he finished the year tied for the team lead in sacks with eight and led the Bills in pressures with 38. The Jets get to avoid Miller, who, during his last trip to MetLife Stadium on Nov. 6, recorded a strip sack of Zach Wilson in a 20-17 Jets win.Over the course of Miller’s six career games against Gang Green, he has recorded 6.5 sacks, 12 quarterback hits, three passes defended and 10 tackles for loss. Without him, however, the team’s defense takes a big hit.
