Jennifer Lopez's Met Gala manicure was the perfect way to give the 'clean girl' nail trend a little upgrade for spring, and her manicurist shared the exact products he used to create the look
The Met Gala may not be known for its relatable fashion and beauty moments, but one thing we can all try is a fabulous manicure. This year's theme saw celebs gracing the red carpet inspired by the Garden of Time, and Jennifer Lopez made sure she was on theme right down to her fingertips.
Tom then detailed how he achieved the understated look, beginning with an essential part of any manicure cuticle care, reports the Mirror. He revealed that his "Not-so-secret weapon to hydrated and hands cuticles" is the Eucerin Aquaphor Healing Ointment, £6.50 here , which is ideal for soothing and hydrating dry skin and getting hands ready for the red carpet.
Instead of keeping the classic coffin shape, Tom shaped JLo's nails into a mid-length almond-style shape, and mixed CND Top Coat with CND Flowerbed Folly, £16.70 here, to create a semi-sheer colour that matched Jennifer's skin tone.
