Rangers remain one point clear of Celtic at the top but Glasgow City are now seven points adrift of the table toppers.
Jo Potter urged her side to believe they are good enough to be champions after they claimed a statement 4-1 win over Glasgow City.
Potter believes the nature of the win as much as the win itself was huge for the league leaders as they head into the final strait. She said: "I think it is massive. We say week in, week out how we want to be consistent and we want to perform and prove that we are the best. City manager Leanne Ross could not hide her frustration at what she described as a "collapse" that have left the reigning champions toiling to keep pace at the top. "It is going to be very difficult,” said Ross. “But we need to be professional and we need to keep fighting. There are seven games left so we just need to fight for every point.
“We tried to make positive changes but the girls know in terms of individual performances and as a collective that the second-half was nowhere near good enough for Glasgow City.”
