Joe Biden has taken a sarcastic swing at election rival Donald Trump after he posted a self-celebratory social media post announcing he had won two trophies at his own golf club's award night. The president shared a post by Mr Trump in which he announced his success at the awards night for the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Very exciting, thank you!!!' The post prompted a response from Mr Biden, who took a tongue-in-cheek shot at his political opponent. Sharing an image of Mr Trump's post on his personal X account, he wrote: 'Congratulations, Donald. Quite the accomplishment.' Mr Biden and Mr Trump are set to go head-to-head in November's presidential election, in a repeat of their 2020 race for the White House.
