Biden says three-month national mask mandate would save 40,000 lives
• Joe Biden is pushing for a national mask mandate, saying that instituting one over the next three months could save more than 40,000 lives. • Refugee admissions to the U.S. have resumed, the State Department confirmed Wednesday, after being put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic in March. Refugees coming to the U.S. will be subject to additional health measures due to Covid-19, although the State Department didn’t detail what those measures were when asked by CNN.
