Former Trump attorney John Eastman defended his conduct around the 2020 presidential election in an interview ahead of his arraignment.
Eastman is one of 19 defendants, including former President Donald Trump, indicted on charges of conspiring to overturn the 2020 presidential election. In an interview with Fox News Host Laura Ingraham that aired Tuesday, Eastman defended his conduct and challenged prosecutors to find any wrongdoing on his part."I have been speaking out all along," Eastman said.
Eastman also hit back against the prosecution's argument that attorney-client privilege could be pierced due to a reasonable possibility that a crime had been committed. Eastman also hit back against the allegation that he and his co-defendants knew what they were saying was false and baseless but sought to overturn the election anyway.
