LOS ANGELES – Things got interesting during what was expected to be the least eventful induction at Saturday’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony.
“Allen is Jewish,” Mellencamp said. “And I bring that up for one reason. My life has been enriched by my relationship with countless Jewish people. Mellencamp’s words come on the heels of antisemitism being in the public eye due to the recent public actions and. Mellencamp didn’t name West or any other person. But he did condemn hate speech.
